DAA, is based in the Netherlands and is powered by the European Academy of Traditional Medical Science (EATMS) which has leading elite educators in acupuncture and traditional Chinese Medicine, domestically and internationally since 2008.
DAA is accredited by SNRO, a national accreditation organization on complementary and alternative medicine, and Dutch Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine NVTCG ZHONG in the Netherlands.
Our Programs
Acupuncture
After accomplished the one year course of "Foundation of Chinese Medicine", you may choose to study Acupuncture. Acupuncture course takes 2 years, the first year focus on meridians, acupoints, acupuncture techniques and other therapeutic methods while the second year on the practical treatment for the common complaints and diseases in acupuncture practice, as well as the strategy of communication with patients and making treatment plans.
Herbal Medicine
Chinese Herbal Medicine Course takes 2 years after the study of Foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has evolved over thousands of years. TCM practitioners use various herbal formulas to address health problems.
Chinese Herbs are prescribed to restore energy balance to the opposing forces of energy – Yin and Yang – that run through meridians in the body. Chinese Herbs can act on the body as powerfully as pharmaceutical drugs and should be treated with the same caution and respect.
Tuina
Chinese Tuina Course takes 2 years, the content of the first year is identical with that of the first year of Acupuncture Course which focus on meridians, acupoints, acupuncture techniques and other therapeutic methods.
The second year starts from basic physical and mind training for Tuina therapists, followed by Tuina manipulations and the practical treatment for the common complaints and diseases in Tuina practice, as well as the strategy of communication with patients and making treatment plans. Tuina therapy for the children is very unique and effective for some paediatric disorders due to its non-invasive approach.
